Membership Terms & Conditions

This service is for adults only (you must be at least 18 years old).

This service is a way for adults to meet each other online. This is a legal agreement (“Agreement”) between you and Luvu. Please read the Agreement carefully before registering. By registering, you become a member of the Service (a “Member”), and you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement (the “Terms”) for as long as you continue to be a Member. If you do not agree to the Terms, you are not permitted to use the service.

The Terms are subject to change by Luvu at any time, without notice, effective upon posting of a link to the revised Terms on our website. Minors (under 18 years old) may not become members. By becoming a Member, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

Either you or Luvu may terminate your membership at any time, for any reason, effective upon sending written notice to the other party. Luvu reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access to the service, without notice, upon any breach of this Agreement.

Your membership in the service is for your sole, personal use. You may not authorize others to use your membership, and you may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity.

By uploading a picture you grant Luvu the right to use pictures and generated content for any purpose and usage on its platform.

Online / Mobile Conduct

As a Member, you agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the content or information you publish or display on the service, or transmit to other members.
• There is no tolerance for objectionable content. You will NOT post any defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, obscene, profane, offensive, sexually oriented, threatening, harassing, racially offensive, or illegal material.
• You will use the service in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations. You will not include in your profile any telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, URLs, or e-mail addresses.
• You will not engage in advertising to, or solicitation of, other members to buy or sell any products or services through the Service.
• You will not post, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner.
• You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members.

Indemnity by Member

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Luvu, its officers, directors, employees, agents and third parties, for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses relating to or arising out of your use of the Service, including any breach by you of the terms of this Agreement.

Online Content

Opinions, advice, statements, or other information or content made available through the service are those of their respective authors and not of Luvu. Luvu does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the Service and is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from anyone's reliance on such content.

Warning: It is possible that other members or users may post or transmit offensive or obscene materials on the service and that you may be involuntarily exposed to such materials. Luvu is not responsible for the use of any personal information that you may choose to disclose on the Service.

Proprietary Rights

Luvu owns and retains proprietary rights in the Service. The Service contains the copyrighted material, trademarks, and other proprietary information of Luvu and its licensors. By posting information or content to any public area of the service, you automatically grant Luvu an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully-paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display, and distribute such information and content.

Disclaimer of Warranty

Luvu provides the Service on an “as is” basis and grants no warranties of any kind. Luvu does not warrant that your use of the service will be secure, uninterrupted, always available, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

In no event will Luvu be liable to you for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising out of the use of or inability to use the Service. Luvu's liability to you for any cause whatsoever will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to Luvu for the Service during the term of membership.

Refund Policy

Luvu will issue a refund within 72 hours of an initial subscription provided that none of the Services have been utilized. Beyond these conditions, requests for refunds will be at the sole discretion of Luvu and will be reviewed on a member-by-member basis.

Content Moderation Transparency

We strive to maintain a positive and respectful environment. Our moderation team reviews reported content and takes appropriate action. If your content is removed or your account is suspended due to moderation actions, you will be notified and provided with an explanation. You may request a review or appeal if you believe the decision was made in error.

User Dispute Resolution / Arbitration

In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting our support team. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, you agree that any and all claims, disputes, or controversies shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration.

Changes to the Terms

Luvu reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
